A little about our founder...

EnviroGuard, Inc. or, as we are known in Georgia, Daisy Pest Control, was founded in 1997 by Lee Tubbs. A second generation pest management professional, Lee began his career in the industry in 1978.  Hi Uncle, Lester Tubbs started Atomic Pest Control in 1958 in Memphis, Tennessee. His dad, Earl Tubbs, joined the company in 1960.  Lee worked after school and summers at the pest control company where he learned the trade and moved up through the ranks. After his father's death in 1989 he joined his Uncle in the family business as manager. His cousin continues to run the well-known pest control company today.  The business is known to all by the huge rat on top of the building at 2371 Elvis Presley Boulevard in Memphis, Tennessee just three blocks north of Graceland.

Before starting his own business, Lee worked in all aspects of the pest control industry including running a pest control company, selling chemicals and supplies to the pest control industry, and working in the regulation/enforcement side of the industry for the State of Tennessee. In addition, Lee custom designed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Memphis (then Memphis State University) to study both business management as well as biology and entomology.  Lee now brings his experience and education to our area.
