Family

Lee lives in Ringgold, Georgia with his wife, Dr. Marilyn Helms. Marilyn is the Sesquicentennial Endowed Chair and Professor of Management at Dalton State College.   She is a published author, business consultant, international lecturer, and the Vice President of EnviroGuard, Inc. His Mother-in-Law, Evelyn Carter Helms, was a 6th grade class-mate of Elvis Presley while at Milam Junior High School in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Evelyn and Tommy Helms, along with Daisy the dog, live in Ringgold, Georgia.

Hobbies and Interest

Lee’s hobbies and interest include scuba diving, international travel, swimming, reading, physical fitness, landscaping, and writing.

Lee is examining termites on palm trees in the Cayman Islands - tunnels are
visible. They will eventually destroy this tree. Date: May 2004.
  

 

Lee finds termite damage at Keanae Congregational Church in Hana, Maui, Hawaii.  Interior walls have termite damage.
